Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Information 

RoHS is European Union legislation per Directive 2002/95/EC that bans cadmium, hexavalent chromium, lead, mercury, PBBs (polybrominated biphenyls), and PBDEs (polybrominated diphenyl ethers) by July 2006.

The term 'RoHS Compliant' is used to refer to products that comply with the restrictions. The overwhelming majority of wire products supplied by Centroid Wire and Cable, LLC are in compliance with the EU directive. However, we will continue to supply solder plated wire containing lead, and cadmium plated and cadmium copper alloy wire to our customers that want and need these products.
